Good afternoon. I am [NAME] from Kyiv. I am very concerned about how war affects children. It would be good if no child in the world knew what war is. But children learn about all the horrors, not from the pages of history textbooks, but from life. In today's world, many states cannot agree among themselves and clarify relations with brutal battles with a demonstration of terrible weapons. Thousands of innocents die, cities are destroyed, and destinies are broken. War through children's eyes is even more frightening because such children have practically no childhood. It is difficult to understand the psyche of dictators who start terrible wars. They seek absolute power, sowing death and destruction. As a result, no one can win. Both sides lost their most valuable resource – human lives. War does not bring anything good. This is one of the faces of death, causing fear, tears and grief. People lucky enough never to experience war will never understand all the horror and hopelessness. You need to feel for yourself what a storm of nightmarish emotions war causes. It is difficult to imagine that there is a constant fear of losing loved ones from whom we had to part. This feeling is much worse than fear for one's own life. And what remains when the war ends? Many people stay mentally and physically disabled forever. No one can turn back time, restore psyche, health and youth. Many crippled destinies are left behind by war. Just one moment can destroy all the good in a person, forever break his will, trample his dreams, and deprive him of his plans. The most terrible thing is to realize that nothing depends on a person's desire. The state and the authorities decide the future fate of the country and population. War spares no one, although many choose to flee. In any case, it has already left its stamp on a person's fate. Families go to their native places and get rid of everything dear to them. It is impossible to return to the former life. In the modern world, all conflicts must be resolved diplomatically. Former showdowns with the use of force must remain in the past. One day, people will learn this, but we can only dream of a world without wars.

Доброго дня, я [ІМ'Я] з Києва. Дуже хвилює, як війна впливає на дітей. Було б добре, якби жодна дитина в світі не знала, що таке війна. Але діти дізнаються про всі жахи не зі сторінок підручників з історії, а з життя. У сучасному світі багато держав не можуть домовитися між собою і з’ясовують відносини жорстокими боями з демонстрацією страшного зброї. Гинуть тисячі невинних, руйнуються міста, ламаються долі. Війна очима дітей ще більш лякає, адже у таких дітей практично немає дитинства. Психіку диктаторів, які розв’язують страшні війни, зрозуміти складно. Вони домагаються абсолютної влади, сіючи смерть і розруху. В результаті ніхто не зможе перемогти. Обидві сторони втратили найбільш цінний ресурс – людські життя. Війна не несе нічого хорошого. Це одне з облич смерті, породжує страх, сльози і горе. Люди, яким пощастило ніколи не стикатися з війною, ніколи не зрозуміють весь жах і безвихідь. Потрібно самому відчути, яку бурю кошмарних емоцій викликає війна. Складно уявити, що присутній постійний страх втрати близьких, з якими довелося розлучитися. Це почуття набагато гірше, ніж боязнь за власне життя. А що залишається, коли закінчується війна? Багато людей назавжди залишаються морально і фізично інвалідами. Ніхто не зможе повернути час, відновити психіку, здоров’я і молодість. Безліч покалічених доль залишає після себе війна. Всього один момент здатний знищити все хороше, що було в людині, назавжди поламати його волю, розтоптати мрії, позбавити планів. Жахливіший за все усвідомлювати, що від бажання людини нічого не залежить. Держава і влада самі вирішують, яка подальша доля країни і населення. Війна нікого не обходить стороною, хоч багато і вирішуються на втечу. У будь-якому випадку вона вже завдала свою печатку на долю людини. Сім’ї залишають рідні місця і позбавляються всього, що було їм дорого. Повернутися до колишнього життя неможливо. У сучасному світі все конфлікти повинні вирішуватися дипломатично. Колишні розборки із застосуванням сили повинні залишитися в минулому. Коли-небудь люди навчаться цьому, а поки про світ без воєн залишається мріяти.
