I will never forget the day when the war began. The morning began with the teachers of my children informing me that the children were not going to school. Then the tanks started to drive freely for two weeks. That is, no one stopped them. Then the horrors began; frequent sirens and bombings from airplanes are so scary when you sit endlessly with your children in the basement and can’t get out. My youngest son was only five months old at the time. He was constantly crying, and my daughter sat next to me and was shaking with fear when we were bombed, constantly repeating whether we would live or not; it’s just a horror that cannot be expressed in words.

Ніколи не забуду цей день, коли почалася війна, ранок почався з того, що класні керівники моїх дітей повідомили про те, що діти не йдуть до школи. Потім почали їхати танки, їхали вільно протягом двох тижнів, тобто їх ніхто не зупиняв. Потім почалися самі жахіття часті сирени, бомбіжки з літаків - це так страшно, коли без кінця сидиш з дітьми у підвалі і не можеш вийти, меншому моєму синочку тоді лише було місяців, він постійно дуже плакав, донька сиділа поруч і дуже трусилася від страху, коли нас бомбили, постійно повторюючи, ми будемо жити чи ні, це просто жах не можна передати словами.
