Winter, : 5:40 am on February 24th, for some reason I wake up at this time, even though I had no classes or other things to do on that eerie day. I take the phone off the charger and open Telegram to see what happened in the world while I was sleeping. The first news that caught my eye was the news that some explosions were taking place in [CITY], my first thought was that some ammunition depot had exploded again, as it had happened many times before, after a couple of seconds a new video appeared, explosions in [CITY], after a couple of seconds, explosions in Kyiv, explosions in [CITY] and [CITY]. I don't understand what's happening, I scroll up the news and see "Putin announced the start of a military operation against Ukraine." Everything became clear to me immediately. That day, I was home alone, and after getting dressed at in the morning, I ran to the nearest ATM to withdraw all the money I had. After returning home, I quickly packed the so-called emergency suitcase, but there was a problem with the products. Without hesitation, I headed to the supermarket, while I was walking, I saw huge queues at ATMs and pharmacies, all people rushed to buy medicine and withdraw money because they did not know what would happen next. At that time, my parents were living in Kyiv, and every time I wrote to them or called them, they answered “falls with a bang, bahkaye" and "take care, son." It was very scary for me, to read that the Russians were already near Kyiv and soon it would be stormed, every day until the first of March when I fell asleep, I was afraid to wake up and see the news that Kyiv had fallen. Thank God, this did not happen, and soon our life in the "rear" began to improve, even though the Russians were standing - kilometers from the city. My parents went to the village to spend the night there, I stayed in the city and heard explosions several times a day, and at night machine gun fire, as it turned out to be violators and others. A couple of weeks later, the Russians fled from the north, and the city was under threat.

Зима, : 5:40 ранку 24 лютого, чомусь я прокидаюсь саме в цей час, хоча в мене не було якихось занять, пар чи інших справ в той моторошний день. Я знімаю телефон з зарядки й відкриваю телеграм, щоб глянути що нового сталося у світі поки я спав. Перша новина яка мені попала на очі, це була новина що в [МІСТО] відбуваються якісь вибухи, перша моя думка була, що це знову вибухнув якийсь склад боєприпасів як це було вже багато разів, через пару секунд з'являється нове відео, вибухи в [МІСТО], ще через пару секунд вибухи в Києві, вибухи в [МІСТО] та [МІСТО]. Я не розумію, що відбувається, гортаю новини у верх і бачу "Путін оголосив про початок військової операції проти України". Мені одразу стало все зрозуміло. У той день я був вдома один і вдягнувшись о ранку я побіг до найближчого банкомата знімати всі кошти, які в мене були. Повернувшись додому я швидко зібрав так звану тривожну валізу, але була проблема з продуктами. Не довго вагаючись, я попрямував до супермаркету, поки я йшов, то бачив величезні черги біля банкоматів і аптек, всі люди кинулися закупати ліки й знімати гроші, бо не знали що буде далі. У той час мої батьки сиділи в Києві та кожен раз як я їм писав, або телефонував вони мені відповідали "гепає, бахкає" і "бережи себе, синочок". Для мене це було саме страшне, читати що рашисти вже під Києвом і незабаром буде його штурм, кожен день до першого березня як я засинав, то мені було страшно прокинутися і побачити новину що Київ пав. Дякуючи богу це не сталося, і вже скоро наше життя в "тилу" почалося налагоджуватися, хоч росіяни та стояли за - кілометрів від міста. Батьки поїхали в село, висиджуватись там, я залишався в місті та декілька раз в день чув вибухи, а вночі стрільбу з автоматів, як виявлялось по порушників та дрг. Через пару тижнів росіяни побігли з півночі, і спала загроза над містом.
