Then, on February , I woke up around a.m. from disturbing dreams and not feeling well. My chest felt strangely cold as if I was sick. That day I had to go to a briefing about the declaration of a state of emergency (as planned the day before), so I was a little angry with myself because the symptoms were similar to the early symptoms of "covid," which I had suffered a year earlier. In such a kind of half-asleep, not understanding what was happening to me, I tossed and turned in bed until, at o'clock, the editor called me and informed me that the war had begun. At that time, there were already many fakes about the Russian landing in [CITY] and the introduction of troops into [CITY], which only increased the morning anxiety. The peak was, of course, the sound of either an explosion in [CITY] or a rocket or plane breaking the sound barrier. However, it was loud enough to make the windows in my room shake menacingly. I then packed some things in case I had to go to the shelter for a long time and made silly jokes while tidying up the kitchen and running to the shower. Obviously, everyone experiences stress in their own way. But quickly came first apathy and then calmness. But we are not a victorious country, and we can do anything; victory is ours. Glory to Ukraine!

Тоді, лютого, я прокинувся близько -ї ранку від тривожних снів і поганого самопочуття. В грудях був дивний холод, ніби я захворів. Того дня я мав їхати на брифінг щодо оголошення (як планувалося напередодні) надзвичайного стану, тому дещо сам на себе розізлився, адже симптоми були схожі на ранні симптоми “ковіду”, який я переніс роком раніше. В такому-от напівсні, не розуміючи, що зі мною відбувається, я прокрутився у ліжку, аж поки о -ій мені не подзвонила редакторка і не повідомила, що почалась війна. Тоді вже гуляло багато фейків про російський десант в [МІСТО] та введення військ у [МІСТО], що лише посилювало вранішню тривогу. Піком став, звісно, звук чи то вибуху в [МІСТО], чи то подолання ракетою чи літаком звукового бар’єра. Однаково, було достатньо голосно, аби вікна в моїй кімнаті загрозливо затремтіли. Я тоді зібрав деякі речі, якщо доведеться йти в укриття надовго, та віджартовувався дурними жартами, наводячи лад на кухні та бігаючи до душу. Вочевидь, у всіх стрес переживається по-своєму. Але швидко прийшли спочатку апатія, а потім – заспокоєння. Але ми не переможна країна та все зможемо, перемога за нами. Слава Україні!
