War Testimony /

I feel [that I am] in danger very often. When an air raid signal sounds, there is often a feeling that this very time it will target the place where I or my loved ones are now. Especially if I'm not at home, riding my bike down the street, and the siren is wailing loudly like that... I heard explosions several times, quite distantly. That's why I feel guilty that nothing terrible happened to me, it's pretty calm in my place, but I get scared. In the first two months of the war, I was unemployed. I went almost every day and volunteered. I wove nets and prepared dry soups for the soldiers. And since I got a job, I don't have the opportunity to volunteer. Sometimes I help financially at the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But it seems to me that it is not enough, so it is also hard on the soul. And it is also challenging when I see how many people are dying - both military and civilians. It's hard because I can't help it. I would go to the front, but the age is not very young anymore, and there are no valuable skills. Previously, she did not consider herself a nationalist. It did not divide people like some nations are better, and some are worse. And now it seems that almost everyone is wrong in Russia. I wish death to those who kill Ukrainians and those who support this war. This also makes my soul feel bad. I want to live and rejoice in some positive changes in how countries help the weak, how to invent something useful, something that will bring benefit and joy. And now it seems that everything is set up only for destruction for someone's benefit, that love and goodness will never win. I try to look for something positive daily, but mostly everything is painted in disturbing black. I am apprehensive about the future of my daughter and her boyfriend, for the future of their future children. Everything is so uncertain ahead. Somehow
