When it all happened, I couldn't believe it, it was like a dream, and I thought I was about to wake up. Then came the understanding of the war, fear, you don't know what to do, how to act, where to run, at first we sat in the cellar all the time, and we decided to go abroad. I was alone with two children; I was apprehensive about what and how it would be, how we would live and what we would live for, where we would live. My mother is staying here; she categorically refused to go with us; she says it will be as if I die in my house and my native land; nobody needs us there. The decision to leave her here and go abroad was tough for me, but I decided to go for the children's sake. We took the essentials, two bags and went to Poland, spent the night in the distribution center for days and decided to go to Lithuania to an acquaintance. I rented an apartment there, and we had to arrange everything little by little because we didn't even have a spoon, but we turned to the Red Cross, and they helped us. Then we received payments and lived on them. But I couldn't stay in a foreign country for a long time; I always wanted to go home, so months passed, and we went back to our native Ukraine. Now we are at home, and we are all holding together, helping to speed up our Victory. And the most important thing is that we are at home, where we are understood, supported and loved by the poorest people. We stand up; we will win!

Коли все сталося, я спочатку не могла повірити в це, це наче був якийсь сон і я думала що ось ось я прокинуся. Потім прийшло розуміння війни, страх, не знаєш що робити, як діяти, куди бігти, спочатку весь час сиділи в погребі потім вирішили їхати закордон. Я сама з двома дітьми, дуже переживала, що і як буде, як будем і за що жити, де будемо жити. Тут моя матуся залишається, вона відмовилась їхати з нами категорично, каже буде як буде, якщо помру то в своїй хаті і на рідній землі, там ми нікому не потрібні. Рішення залишити її тут і поїхати закордон було для мене дуже складним, але я вирішила заради дітей їхати. Взяли саме необхідне, дві сумки і поїхали у Польщу, переночували у розподільному центрі дні і вирішили їхати в Литву до знайомої. Там я зняла квартиру і ми потроху все облаштовувати, бо навіть ложки не було, але ми звернулись у Червоний хрест і нам допомогли. Отримали потім виплати і на них жили. Але я так і не змогла бути довго на чужині, мені постійно хотілось додому, так пройшло місяці і ми поїхали назад в нашу рідну Україну. Зараз ми вдома і всі разом тримаємося, допомагаємо пришвидшити нашу перемогу. І саме головне що ми вдома, де нас розуміють, підтримають і люблять найбідніші люди. Вистоємо, переможемо
