On February , our whole family woke up at : a.m. from terrible explosions and immediately realized that it was war. Various acquaintances warned us to prepare, to at least pack the suitcase and documents, but we didn't believe it. Our city of [CITY], Kharkiv region, is located very close to the border with Russia. From the first day, we heard how [CITY] and [CITY] were being shelled. All the aviation of these non-humans flew over our roofs. At first, we ran to the graveyard all the time, because we couldn't understand which sounds meant what. And then our area was covered with mortars... just like that... they just had to check if there would be a "backlash". The first houses, cars, and the administrative buildings began to burn. They were getting closer and closer - the village of [CITY] is right next to us. An evacuation was announced here, because according to all the rules of war, it is impossible for people to stay in the line of fire. That's how all of us, who earlier, and whose nerves held out, later left our homes. Who is with relatives, and we are just nowhere. But God gave us a roof over our heads and a good woman, [NAME], who took us in with a dog and a cat. Nadiia gave us hope for life and faith that everything will be fine!!! We live now only with faith that all this will end quickly and peace will come in our Ukraine.

лютого вся наша родина прокинулась о . від страшних вибухів і зразу зрозуміли, що це війна. Нас попереджали різні знайомі, щоб ми готувалися, щоб хоча б валізу і документи зібрали, а ми не вірили. Наше місто [МІСТО], Харківської області розташоване дуже близько до кордону з росією. Ми з першого дня чули, як обстрілювали [МІСТО] та [МІСТО]. Вся авіація цих нелюдів летіла над нашими дахами. Ми спочатку весь час бігали у погріб, бо не могли зрозуміти, які звуки що означають. А потім наш район накрили з мінометів... просто так... просто їм треба було перевірити чи буде "отвєтка" (відповідь). Почали горіти перші хати, автомобілі, адміністративні будівлі. Вони підбиралися все ближче – село [МіСТО], це зовсім поряд з нами. У нас оголосили евакуацію, бо за всім правилами війни на лінії вогню залишатися людям неможливо. Ось так ми всі, хто раніше, а у кого витримали нерви, пізніше виїхали з наших домівок. Хто до родичів, а ми просто в нікуди. Але Бог дав нам дах над головою і добру жіночку [ІМʼЯ], яка приютила нас разом із псом та котом. Надія подарувала нам надію на життя і віру, що все буде добре!!! Живемо зараз тільки з вірою, що все це швидко закінчиться і наступить мир у нашій Україні.
