Did I think that I would find a war? Did my grandmothers, who had already survived the world war, think that? Of course not! But, unfortunately, we all have to go through it now. I live in a military town, and hearing helicopters flying is routine. They often flew in the evening before the war, but it was not as usual. My friend and I thought: "What if there is a war tomorrow!?" But we realized that it was unrealistic and fell asleep. No one could have thought that we would wake up from explosions in a few hours. Of course, they are not comparable, as in [CITY] or [CITY]. Because of this event, I separated from my friends and family for months. It was challenging and stressful. The first days I could not eat and concentrate on everyday life. Thoughts were only about the Motherland. And the only question: "What is all this for? Why?"

Я живу у військовому місті, і чути польоти вертольотів, це рутина. Вечір перед війною часто літали вони, але це було не так, як завжди. Я з подругою подумали: « А що, якщо війна завтра буде!?» Але ми зрозуміли, що це нереально і заснули. Ніхто не міг подумати, що через декілька годин ми проснемося від вибухів.
