I was very worried; it happened on my birthday! I woke up at : for work, and after - minutes, I heard explosions and went to the window, and the windows were shaking. I looked out the window, and there was a glow. I was very scared! I immediately understood that it was a war! I shouted to my parents that the war had begun! The children were very scared! It was very scary when planes were flying, and bombs were being dropped. It was a horror. We hid in the basement or in the cellar. It was better in the cellar, warmer than in the cellar. The explosions were not heard in the basement. We constantly prayed with my mother and my older sister! Those days were very terrible, and I will never forget it. Now I don't want my birthday at all, and I want to forget it like a terrible dream! When we were travelling by train, I did not understand where to go and what to do!

Я дуже переживала, це сталось на моє день народження! Я прокинулась о : на працю і через - хвилини почула вибухи і підійшла до вікна, а вікна дрожали, дивлюсь у вікно, а там зарево, я дуже злякалась! Я зразу зрозуміла, що це війна! Я крикнула своїм батькам, що почалась війна! Діти дуже злякались! Було дуже страшно, коли літали літаки і скидували бомбу. Це був жах. Ми ховалися у підвалі то у погребі, у підвалі було краще, тепліше чим у погребі. У підвалі не так було чути вибухи. Ми постійно молились з мамою і сестрою моєю старшою! Ці дні були дуже жахливі і не забуду це ніколи. Мій день народження я тепер зовсім не хочу і хочу забути як страшний сон! Коли їхали в поїзді, то я не розуміла, куди їхати і що робити!
