Every morning you think that this could be the last morning, the last coffee, the last walk with friends. Over time, you begin to treat this as normal, so to speak, as if war is war, and you have to live on. But is this the norm? I think not. Some children were born in the subway; young people did not live their best times as they should; adults lost their jobs; elderly people experience increased stress; it is more difficult for them to withstand and adapt to the conditions of war. Our psyche eventually stops responding to usual problems; we look at things less critically and less carefully. If the problem is not to run away from the war and hide from the missiles, then it is not a problem: this is what the people who will survive this war will say. I live in a time of war, but I thank God that I did not have to see all the horrors of this bloodshed, and I live in comfort (if you compare my standard of living with the inhabitants of the regions that suffered more destruction).

Кожного ранку ти думаєш, що це може бути останній ранок, остання кава, останні прогулянки с друзями. З часом до цього ти починаєш ставитися так би мовити нормально, ніби війна війною, а жити треба далі. Але чи є це нормою? Думаю ні. Деякі діти народилися у метро, молоді люди не прожили свої найкращі часи як треба, дорослі втратили роботу, люди похилого віку переживають посилений стрес, їм складніше витримувати це і адаптуватися до умов війни. Наша психіка згодом перестає реагувати на звичні проблеми, ми дивимося на речі не так критично, не так ретельно. Якщо проблема це не тікати від війни та ховатися від ракет – то це не проблема : так будуть казати люди, які переживуть цю війну. Я живу під час війни, але дякую Богу, що мені не довелося бачити усі жахи цього кровопролиття та я живу в комфорті (якщо порівнювати мій рівень життя з жителям регіонів, які зазнали більших руйнувань).
